And here is the finished piece (sketch available here).

Gretha is my first anthro/furry/kemono character.

Nya... I think my pictures are becoming too dark for my taste... >.> I discovered that I have a strange tendency to always darken all my colors, even though I am fan of very colorful pictures, and vivid colors. :-( Another trend which I would get rid of is that I unconsciously work to make a realistic picture, but I don't want it!! ;____;

If anyone knows a tut to deal with bright colors, please, send me a link, k? :-(

Great picture, I am curious what she is. Looks a bit like a journalist to me.

Do you in some aspect maybe feel guilty for wantig bright colors and wanting it no so realistic?

Thanks! :-) Actually she's a headbanger, but I'm going to develop her better. Even going to make more characters to interact with her.

Well, the point is that I would like to be able to do something like this. I freaking luv Carni's artworks. But I don't know how to work with bright colors. ^^; I think I'll get rid of the airbrush from my painting process and leave only the watercolor. And see what happens.

A great result, the lighting looks good in my opinion, but if you want to try out lighter colors, try some daytime outdoor scenes , perhaps at a beach? ^^

Oh, ela tem um bom senso de estilo :w00t: Acho que o modo como fizeste as manchas numa das pernas está fantástico (também andei a ver isso na outra imagem que tens dela) e a maneira como fuma é outra :headbang: Escuro? Neste não fica nada mal :3
